The Toxicity We Encounter in Everyday Life – and How It’s Affecting Your Health

In recent years, there has been a growing awareness of the hidden dangers lurking in our everyday environments. From the products we use in our homes to the air we breathe outdoors, exposure to toxins has become an unavoidable reality of modern life. But what exactly are these toxins, and how are they impacting our health?

Recent news reports have shed light on the alarming extent of toxic exposures faced by individuals in various settings, including the military. The revelation that British troops were knowingly exposed to toxic chemicals during the Iraq War has sparked widespread concern about the long-term health consequences of such exposures. Many of these troops have since developed serious illnesses, including cancer, tumours, and other chronic conditions, highlighting the urgent need for greater awareness and action on toxicity issues. Studies and reports from organisations such as the UK Parliament and the National Institutes of Health have further underscored the link between environmental pollutants and adverse health effects. Three major endocrine diseases, including diabetes and obesity, have been identified as being strongly associated with exposure to some environmental pollutants. These findings highlight the complex interplay between environmental factors and human health, emphasising the need for comprehensive approaches to addressing toxicity issues.

So, what can we do to protect ourselves from the harmful effects of toxicity in our everyday lives? One crucial step is to become more informed about the sources of toxins in our environments and take proactive measures to reduce our exposure. This may involve making simple changes to our daily routines, such as choosing non-toxic household products, reducing air pollution in our homes, and advocating for stronger environmental regulations.

At House of Evexia, we understand the importance of early detection and prevention when it comes to toxicity-related health issues. Our comprehensive testing services, including toxin testing, are designed to identify harmful substances in the body and provide valuable insights into overall health.

Toxicity testing involves analysing a urine sample to detect the presence of heavy metals, environmental toxicity such as pesticides and mold. By detecting toxicity early on, we can help individuals take proactive steps to mitigate potential risks and safeguard their well-being for the long term.

In conclusion, the toxicity we encounter in everyday life poses significant risks to our health and well-being. By raising awareness of these issues and taking proactive measures to address them, we can work towards creating healthier environments for ourselves and future generations.

If you can’t put your finger on the trigger for on-going symptoms, then there is a high chance that you could have been exposed to environmental toxins that are playing havoc with your health. This can be reversed, or improved if you are aware of what you are dealing with. Your GP will not test for Toxins as a first resort, and ONLY if you meet the criteria of the NHS for testing, which many of my clients don’t.

I advise my clients to include functional health testing, as well as mold, metals and toxicity testing to ensure we can rule things out and devise a treatment plan that is bespoke to the cause of YOUR symptoms.

You can feel better again.

If you’d like to discuss any of our Functional or Tox testing, please join my waitlist for a 30 minute free consultation (over Zoom) to discuss your areas of concern, and whether the tests would be right you.
